Open Lecture on Connectionism and Second Language Acquisition

The Research Center for Language, Brain and Cognition at the Graduate School of International Cultural Studies presents an open lecture by Dr. Yasuhiro Shirai, an internationally recognized scholar in the field of second language acquisition (SLA).

Shirai is a professor of applied linguistics and cognitive science, and the Eirik Borve Professor of Modern Languages at Case Western Reserve University in the United States.

The lecture will feature highlights from his recent book, "Connectionism and Second Language Acquisition," which discusses the relevance of connectionist research to SLA.

The lecture will be in English and no registration is required.
