Bringing the State Back in: New Frontiers of Governance Studies in China

The purpose of this symposium is to comprehensively understand the Chinese Communist Party's governance since the 1970s, and the differences/similarities of each government agency's development.

The presenters will refer to the governing strategy of the Chinese Communist Party and to each government agency's reaction to these policies by introducing methodology, qualitative/quantitative research results, and newly found historical materials.
