Vive la France!

Tohoku University presents the delights of France in a week-long festival at Aobayama and Kawauchi Campuses starting Tuesday, October 13.

In true French form, there'll be food, music, a movie and of course, stimulating lectures!

If you've ever thought about studying in France, the French Student Exchange Promotion Office will be on campus to answer all questions.

Or if you've just always wanted to say "Bon Jour!" to someone and hear it said back, stop by any of the events and introduce yourself. There's something for everyone in the schedule below. Allons-y!

Lunch Bentos featuring French food will be on sale
Where:BOOOK at the School of Engineering on Aobayama Campus
Time:From 11:30am
Price: 500yen per lunch box, limited to 30 boxes each day.

Study in France!
Campus France (French Student Exchange Promotion Office) will be on campus to promote studies in France.
Where: Student welfare facilities, in front of Coop on Kawauchi Kita Campus
Time:11:30am ~ 3:00pm
Special lecture followed by a panel discussion
Who: Bernard Delmas, President and CEO of Nihon Michelin Tire Co. Ltd.
The talk will be followed by a discussion on the merits of studying abroad, internships and double degrees.
The panel will be chaired by Mr. Florent Dabadie, and will include:

Information and networking session
Who: French students studying at Tohoku University and Japanese students who had studied in France. Anyone else who is interested in studying in France or learning more about France is also encouraged to attend.

Time:6:00 pm (There will be a free French buffet!)
Oct 17
French song contest organized by the Alliance Francaise.
Prizes include return air ticket to Paris, French lessons and French restaurant vouchers.
