The Department of Metallurgy, Materials Science and Materials Processing at Tohoku University is looking to appoint a professor or associate professor responsible for the research, education, and management of the Research Center for Green X-Tech.
The successful appointee will also be involved in teaching, researching, and managing cooperative courses within the Department of Metallurgy Materials Science and Materials Processing.
Candidates with a background in education and research on issues related to green innovations in the fields of materials and engineering are highly desired. Those with experience using synchrotron radiation and data-driven approaches are also highly encouraged to apply.
