Vice President Zhang Rong and representative committee members at Nanjing University in China officially visited Executive Vice President Ueki (for International Affairs and Legal Affairs) on February, 20(Fri) 2009.

After general greeting, the meeting on promotion of further academic exchange between China and Japan, including exchange of researchers and international students based on the academic agreement. The exchange between Tohoku University and Nanjing University has started with agreement on exchange since 1999 on University level,and both universities have been developing active exchange of wide areas of education and research.
