Center for Interdisciplinary Research of Tohoku University (CIR) concluded a reciprocal department agreement with Center for Integrated Systems of Stanford University (CIS).

CIR concluded a reciprocal department agreement on the academic corporation with CIS on Friday, April 3.


Professor Kazuo Nakajima, Director of CIR, Professor Tetsuo Endoh (Researching Section), Associate Professor Junji Saida (Managing and Planning Section) visited CIS of Stanford University, and the agreement was signed between Professor Yoshio Nishi, Director of CIS, and Professor Kazuo Nakajima, Director of CIR.


Based on the longtime collaborative research on the advanced semiconductor integrated circuit technology of Professors Nishi and Endoh, who have contributed a great deal to grow the strong reciprocal partnership, the agreement has been successfully concluded. And also, more scientific exchanges in various fields are expected in future by this agreement.
