International Symposium on Engineering of Indium Saving for Transparent Conductive Film

Rare metals are high-value-added materials that support our national industries, and a demand for them has been increased. Also, the demand has been significantly increased in developing countries. Substitutability of such metals is low because of their rareness compared with other metals. A strong dependence on particular producing nations caused a concern about a long-term stable supply. ITO Transparent Conductive Thin Films that are used for liquid crystal monitors include Indium, one of rare metals. Our urgent problem is to reduce Indium usage.

This symposium will discuss solutions for the tight Indium supply and demand by innovating engineering of Indium saving for Transparent Conductive Thin Films. High potential businesses and researchers from home and abroad about the engineering will attend the symposium.
