Pelican United, a joint project team, has won the prizes as described below at RoboCup 2009 Graz in Austria through June 29 to July 5, 2009. Pelican United has been led by Professor Satoshi Tadokoro, Assistant Professor Kazunori Ohno at Graduate School of Information Sciences, Professor Kazuya Yoshida, Assistant Professor Keiji Nagatani at Graduate School of Engineering, Tohoku University, Professor Eiji Koyanagi at Chiba Institute of Technology, and International Rescue System Institute.
