Response for the group infection of influenza A (H1N1) taken by Tohoku University 2009.8.10
Tohoku University discovered that more than 10 students belonging to the Valley ball club and Cheer leaders and participated in the Seven Universities Athleticmeet had been detected to be infected the influenza A (H1N1) on 10th of August. Now students infected the influenza A (H1N1) are treating themselves at home and their conditions are confirmed to be not severe.
In terms of the prevention for the further expansion of infection, the University instructed participants of the Seven Universities Athleticmeet to stand by at home, to check their health, and to take appropriate action from 8th to 15th of August. In addition the University instructed the Valley ball club and cheer leaders to halt activity from 8th to 15th of August.
Please pay attention to the prevention measure for the infection when you participate in any competition and meeting as extracurricular activities.
