Response for the group infection of influenza A (H1N1) taken by Tohoku University 2009.8.25
Tohoku University discovered that three students belonging to the Golf club and participated in residential training outside of Miyagi prefecture had detected flue-like symptoms such as fever and one of them was diagnosed as the influenza A (H1N1) positive and others were confirmed as flue A -like patients. Now students infected the influenza A (H1N1) are treating themselves at home and their conditions are confirmed to be not severe.
In terms of the prevention for the further expansion of infection, the University instructed participants of the Seven Universities Athleticmeet to stand by at home, to check their health, and to take appropriate action from 24th to 30th of August. In addition the University instructed the Swimming club to halt activity from 24th to 30th of August.
Please pay attention to the prevention measure for the infection when you participate in any competition and meeting as extracurricular activities.
