Response for the group infection of influenza A (H1N1) taken by Tohoku University 2009.8.28
Tohoku University discovered that 3 students belonging to the E.S.S club participated in the residential training in Miyagi prefecture had been detected fever-associated symptoms. They were diagnosed as the influenza A(H1N1) Now students infected the influenza A (H1N1) are treating themselves at home and their conditions are confirmed to be not severe.
In terms of the prevention for the further expansion of infection, the University instructed participants of residential training to stand by at home, to check their health, and to take appropriate action from 27th of August to 3rd of September. In addition to enhance the deeply contacted students' voluntary ban on leaving home (for about 7days), the University instructed the Swimming club to halt activity from 27th of August to 3rd of September.
Please pay attention to the prevention measure for the infection when you participate in any competition and meeting as extracurricular activities
