Ms. Takako Shibayama at Industry-University-Government Collaboration Division, Office of Cooperative Research and Development, Tohoku University was awarded 2009 JST Innovation Coordinator Prize. The above prize was awarded to coordinators for their outstanding achievement in Industry-University-Government collaboration. The prize was established in fiscal year 2009 to motivate coordinators, and to improve their social position by informing the meaning of their activities.

 The award ceremony has been held at Japan Innovation Coordinator Forum in Sapporo, Hokkaido on October 7, 2009.
