Professor Hirokazu Fujimaki at Graduate School of Science, Tohoku University was appointed as professor emeritus by Mongolian University of Science and Technology. Professor Fujimaki is in charge of the inter-university agreement with Mongolian University of Science and Technology, and produced outstanding human resources. Tohoku University has accepted five students and one guest professor from Mongol where talented people tend to major in Earth Science because of its rich resources. Mongolian students under Professor Fujimaki’s guidance have returned to home country to become associate professor or assistant professor.
