2010 President's Education Award
President’s Education Award is given to faculty members for their outstanding achievements in education based on the university’s philosophy. The presentation ceremony has been held at Sendai Gymnasium on March 25, 2010.

Spanish Language Committee
It has contributed to improving Spanish classes by multidirectionaly using digital technologies, and received a high reputation from students.

Graduate School of Environmental Studies
As an innovative approach to constructing a system of Environmental Studies, they have contributed to fostering human resources to take leadership in environmental issues.
Professor Maki Suematsu
Research Institute of Electrical Communication
The professor has contributed to promoting extracurricular activities by taking a leadership including in music performances at Tohoku University Centennial Event as a manager of culture clubs.
Professor Ryoichi Nagatomi
Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering
The professor has long contributed to the development and support of extracurricular activities including deepening cooperation with culture clubs as a manager of sport clubs.
