Tohoku University Library has received the 2010 Publication Prize from Mathematical Society of Japan (MSJ). The reason to be awarded is that Tohoku University Library has contributed to researches on Japanese mathematics and opened the Portal Site for Archives of Japanese Mathematics. The library has provided opportunities to access to valuable materials that belong to the university. The library has digitized and posted these materials including pictures on the website.

 The presentation ceremony was held at Hiyoshi Campus, Keio University in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture on March 25, 2010. The MSJ president has presented a diploma and plaque to the vice director of the library.
