Two faculty members of Tohoku University have received Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award, the 8th Person of Merit Award in Industry-University-Government collaboration. The prize is given to a person or a group for its outstanding achievements in Industry-University-Government collaboration.  The presentation ceremony will be held in Sciences and Technology Festa in Kyoto on June 5, 2010.
