11th Incentive Award from the Japan Society of Ultrasonic in Medicine
Assistant Professor Kenichi Funamoto at Institute of Fluid Science, Tohoku University has received 11th Incentive Award from the Japan Society of Ultrasonic in Medicine at the 83rd Annual Scientific Meeting held at Kyoto International Conference Center through May 29 to 31, 2010. The reason to be awarded is his study on the estimation method of flow ratio at vascular bifurcation using blood flow analysis combining of ultrasonic measurement and numerical simulation.
The prize is given to young researchers who have been contributing to the future development of medical ultrasonics through evaluation of abstracts on each subject by the selection committee of the society, and lecture evaluation by the award committee.
