The Integrated Materials Research Center for a Low-Carbon Society (LC-IMR)

The Integrated Materials Research Center for a Low-Carbon Society (LC-IMR) was founded in April, 2010 for the promotion of integrated research in materials science to contribute to achievement of Low-Carbon Society. The main aim of LC-IMR is to promote outstanding projectsin the field of materials research which will contribute to making low-carbon emissions a reality from various perspectives, from energy-saving to energy-harvesting and storage. Cooperation between the industry, the general public and the university will be sought through workshops and actively making information available. In collaboration with other IMR research centers, we are also pursuing collaboration with talented research groups outside our institution.
