The bus map developed by Sendai City and eight universities in this area including Tohoku University received 2010 JCOMM Design Award from Japanese Conference on Mobility Management.  The presentation ceremony was held at Sendai city hall on August 3, 2010. 

 This ingenious bus map aims to promote using public transportation and shows information such as a route map for commuting, location of bus stops and how to use buses for international students.  It is the first recipient in the Miyagi Prefecture.
