2010 The Japanese Society for the Study of Xenobiotics Award for Young Scientists
Associate Professor Masahiro Hiratsuka at Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Tohoku University has received 2010 The Japanese Society for the Study of Xenobiotics Award for Young Scientists. The JSSX Award for Young Scientists is awarded to promising researchers for their outstanding achievements. The reason to be awarded is Associate Professor Hiratsuka's research "Screening of SNP in drug-metabolizing enzyme genes and functional characterization of genetic variant proteins." The presentation ceremony has been held at OMIYA Sonic City on October 8, 2010.
