Universality of Superconducting Mechanism in Iron-based High-temperature Superconductors - Determination of the symmetry of superconducting-electron pairs -

A research group of Dr.Kosuke Nakayama at Graduate School of Science and Prof. Takashi Takahashi at WPI Advanced Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University has revealed that the superconducting mechanism of iron-based high-temperature superconductors is universal and well explained in a unified picture regardless of the type of materials.

The research result will be published online soon in Physical Review Letters (October 29 issue) by American Physical Society.
