The Best Paper Award, Kojima Kiyoshi Prize from The Japan Society of International Economics
Associate Professor Akihiko Yanase at Graduate School of International Cultural Studies, Tohoku University received the Best Paper Award, Kojima Kiyoshi Prize at the annual conference of the Japan Society of International Economics on October 16 and 17, 2010.
The paper’s title is "Global Pollution, Dynamic and Strategic Policy Interactions, and Long-run Effects of Trade" (The International Economy No.13, 2009, pp.23-49.) It discusses long-run effects on global environment and economic welfare of free trades that may lead to production activities to worsen global environment using dynamic models.
The prize is given to the author of an outstanding paper among those published in The International Economy. Winners are selected by the Kojima Kiyoshi Foundation Management Committee.
