A diploma was given from the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare to Tohoku University for the promotion of blood donation on Kawauchi Campus.

This follows the letter of appreciation from the ministry in 2000. The presentation ceremony was held at the meeting “Thanks to Blood Donor” at KKR Hotel Sendai on November 29, 2010.

* More than 300 students, faculty and staff members cooperated for the activity in 2010.
