Professor Genkuro Fujino Award is given to our talented graduate students from china who are expected to achieve major results in the future.　　4 students received the prize this year.

 This prize was established to commemorate Professor Genkuro Fujino. Lu Xun’s novel “Mr. Fujino” was based on the professor. Lu Xun was a student of Sendai Medical School, the predecessor of Tohoku University, from 1904 through 1906.

 The presentation ceremony was held at Lu Xun lecture hall on December 15, 2010 with attendance of Takeshi Ebata, Chairman of Miyagi Japan-China Friendship Association.
