Breakthrough in technology for analyzing credibility of large amounts of information on the Internet
Researchers at Tohoku University, together with partner research organizations in Japan, announced an advancement technology to support Internet users in evaluating the credibility of large amounts of information. The technology works by automatically gathering and organizing specific opinions on topics of user interest into different perspectives and showing users supporting evidence or other information useful in determining their reliability. This advancement was achieved in collaboration with NEC, Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Yokohama National University (YNU) and National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT).
