The scientific scope of our workshop is "Cutting-edge Functional Materials for Green Innovation".

In the morning of February 22, special session is planned inviting Dr. J. Georg Bednorz, 1987 Nobel Prize in Physics Laureate, Dr. Peter Gru"nberg, 2007 Nobel Prize in Physics Laureate, and Dr. Sumio Iijima of Meijo University , also Adjunct Professor of WPI-AIMR, a receipient of the Japanese Order of Culture in 2009.

We will have plenary sessions and parallel sessions by world premier researchers. For encouraging younger researchers and further discussing the fusion research we have a poster session.
