President Akihisa Inoue visited Chulalongkorn University to meet with President Pirom Kamolratanakul and Vice President Kalaya Tingsabadh, and signed a university agreement and memorandum of student exchange with Chulalongkorn University on February 3, 2011.

 Chulalongkorn University was established in 1917 as the first university in Thailand. It currently has 18 departments to be a representative university in Thailand.

 The newly signed agreement will be expected to further promote exchange of education and research between the two universities.
