4 Professors receiving the 7th JSPS Prize
The following four professors of Tohoku University have received the 7th JSPS Prize from Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).
Professor Yasumasa Matsuda at Graduate School of Economics and Management
Professor Eiji Saitoh at Institute for Materials Research
Professor Hiroyuki Fukuyama at Institute for Multidisciplinary Research for Advanced Materials
Professor Masao Watanabe at Graduate School of Life Sciences
The prize is given to future academic research leaders who are expected to be Nobel nominees in order to promote their studies to lead breakthroughs.
The presentation ceremony will be held at Japan Academy Hall on March 3, 2011.
