Professor Masayuki Yamamoto at Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine has received the 51th Toray Science and Technology Prize. 

 The reason to be awarded is “Clarification of Molecular Mechanism of  Environmental Stress Response in the Body,” and the professor’s long research effort. 

 The presentation ceremony will be held at the Industry Club of Japan at Marunouchi, Tokyo on March 16, 2011.
