A path toward the development of GOS multi-functional device

 Assistant Professor Hirokazu Fukidome in a research group at Research Institute of Electrical Communication, Tohoku University has successfully multi-functionalized Graphene on Silicon (GOS), which is an electronic material for the next generation, by plane direction of silicon substrate. In addition, the research group has revealed that a transistor with GOS can be integrated.

 

 It is groundbreaking achievement to show multi-functionalization of GOS and possibilities of GOS integration, in the sense that they have paved the way for GOS multi-functional IC.
