Dr. Masato Sagawa at Intermetallics Co., Ltd., who invested Nd-Fe-B type permanent magnet, has received 2012 (28th) Japan Prize. He had graduated the doctoral program at Graduate School of Engineering, Tohoku University.

The presentation ceremony was held at the National Theatre on April 25, 2012.
