Professor Masayuki Yamamoto of Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine was awarded the Oxygen Club of California and Jarrow Formulas Health Science Prize during the Oxygen Club of California World Congress 2012 "Oxidants and Antioxidants in Biology" held June 20-23 in Alba, Italy.

The Oxygen Club of California and Jarrow Formulas Health Science Prize were created in 2010 to honor outstanding researchers, shared jointly with Professor Thomas Kensler, University of Pittsburgh.  The lectures and the prize ceremony were held on June 22 during the OCC World Congress.
