2012 | Press Release
Verification of new spin device functionality - leading to a rare-earth-free composite-element with both recording and computation functions.
Tohoku University, Osaka University, and the Japan Synchrotron Radiation Research Institute (JASRI) have jointly succeeded in visualization of the isothermal reversal process of strong magnetic coupling at a ferromagnetic/antiferromagnetic interface, which can be used for, among other applications, reading information from a hard disk drive.
