Associate Professor Takeshi Fujita of the Advanced Institute of Materials Research (AIMR), Tohoku University has clarified the catalytic properties of (dealloyed nanoporous gold) at the atomic level as part of Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) fundamental research and have established means for new catalyst designs.
