It was announced that Associate Professor Hikaru Takeuchi and Assistant Professor of Institute of Development, Aging and Cancer, Tohoku University won the 29th Inoue Research Award for Young Scientists.

Inoue Research Award for Young Scientists is awarded to young researchers who submitted an outstanding doctoral dissertation in academic fields such as science, medical science, pharmaceutical science, engineering and agricultural science in the past three years. The presentation ceremony will be held in Tokyo on February 4, 2013.
