3 Professors receiving 9th JSPS Prize
The following three professors of Tohoku University have received the 9th JSPS Prize from Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).
Associate Professor Katsunari Oikawa (Graduate School of Engineering)
Associate Professor Eijiro Sumii (Graduate School of Information Sciences, Tohoku University)
Associate Professor Akira Inoue (Tohoku University Hospital)
The prize is given to future academic research leaders who are expected to be Nobel nominees in order to promote their studies to lead breakthroughs.
The presentation ceremony will be held at Japan Academy Hall on February 4, 2013.
