It was announced that Professor Takayuki Doi at Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences wins The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan Award for Divisional Scientific Promotions 2013.
The prize is awarded to scientists for recognition of promotion of divisional fields of pharmaceutical sciences.
The reason to be awarded is "Promotion of basic research for drug discovery on the basis of the total synthesis of biologically active natural products".
