With the election of a female president in the Republic of Korea on December 2012, Professor Hiroshi Yoshida, Graduate School of Economics and Management, Tohoku University, conducted a straw public opinion poll about the participation of women in politics from 300 men and women of the Greater Tokyo region and investigated the possibilities for the birth of a female Japan prime minister.
