Profossor Shin-ichiro Shoda, area of study in Bioegineering, has been awarded the The Society of Synthetic Organic Chemistry Japan Award for Fiscal Year 2012.

This award is bestowed upon individuals with research or inventions that led to significant contributions or developments in the field of synthetic organic chemistry or its related industrial fields. These awarded individuals contributed to the systematization of synthetic organic chemistry through many years of research and findings.
