The research group led by Professor Masanobu Satake and Assistant Professor Shunsuke Kon of the Institute of Development, Aging and Cancer, Tohoku University has reported on a new understanding the pathogenic mechanism of hematopoietic tumors. The research was published at first in the electronic edition of the American scientific journal The Journal of Clinical Investigation (February 22, 2013, at 12 pm EST) and later taken up as a JCI Impact article in the March publication.
