Nishizawa Memorial Room

Nishizawa Memorial Room is located at the site of old Research Institute for Semiconductors where Jun-ichi Nishizawa, the former president of Tohoku University, had developed technologies of semiconductor materials. The memorial room preserves and exhibits materials associated with the Birthplace of Optical Communications to share with local communities and to contribute to future educational researches.

Open: Monday to Friday (Saturday, Sundays and holidays closed)

9:00 to 16:00
