The Career Support Center introduces part-time basis tutor work and other part-time work to students wishing to work. However, please be careful that such work does not to affect your academic activities.

Be sincere in meeting the expectations of employers, who acknowledge your responsibilities as a student.

Notes for Working

In recent years, there are wider varieties of part-time jobs, which may cause students unexpected troubles.
Understand the job descriptions and conditions as well as information about employers. Be very careful when choosing work and when working.
In addition, report immediately to the Recruitment Section, Career Support Center any discrepancies between the job conditions in the announcement and the actual ones if you encounter any trouble.

How to apply

Home Tutor

If you want to work as home tutor at a job posted on the bulletin board, ask the Career Support Center Recruitment Section Counter (Kawauchi-Kita Campus, Education and Student Support Department, Administration Building, 2nd Floor)

Part-time Jobs

If you want to work at a part-time positions posted on the bulletin board, contact the employer directly individually.

The Career Support Center also provides part-time work information through Tohoku University Part-time Work Info System, a recruitment information operated by the Student Part-time Job Information Network.

New Registration

  1. Open a new registration window for Tohoku University Part-time Work Info System.
  2. Register your e-mail address provided by Tohoku University.
  3. ID and Password will be sent to the email address registered in 2.

How to use

  1. Log in to Tohoku University Part-time Work Info System using the ID and Password.
  2. If you find an employer you like, contact them by phone and confirm the conditions.

Important Note

  1. If you encounter any trouble in the part-time work, contact the Administration Office of Student Part-time Job Information Network, Nasic I Support Co. Ltd. (03-5466-1236).
  2. International Students are required to have PERMISSION TO ENGAGE IN ACTIVITY OTHER THAN THAT PERMITTED UNDER THE STATUS OF RESIDENCE PREVIOUSLY GRANTED issued by the Immigration Bureau.
