Tohoku University's Katahira Campus is home to several buildings designated by the Japanese government as Registered Tangible Cultural Properties - historical and cultural assets that bear witness to history.

This June, Tohoku University is organizing a campus tour to explore the architectural features of these special buildings.
The tour will be led by Atsushi Fujisawa, a specially appointed professor at the Tohoku University Museum, and Tokiko Onuki, a specially appointed senior assistant professor at the Campus Design Office.

There are two sessions to choose from - one in the morning and one in the afternoon. At the end of each, there will be a tea break with light refreshments and an opportunity to chat with the experts leading the tour.
This Japanese language event is open to the public and there is a small fee of 800 yen. Registration is required.
