The Graduate School of Environmental Studies is seeking to recruit an individual capable of conducting research and teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Graduate teaching will primarily take place within the Graduate School of Environmental Studies, while undergraduate teaching will be carried out in the School of Engineering's Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
Candidates will be responsible for researching the development of machinery and the design of systems that promote environmental sustainability. Individuals with research experience in mechanical engineering or information engineering, particularly in the context of solving environmental and energy-related problems, are strongly encouraged to apply. The department is also looking for candidates with strong insight, excellent leadership skills, and a strong motivation to pioneer new research areas.
