Careers for Women as Tohoku University Faculty Members

4th Career Seminar 2017: Careers for Women as University Faculty Members

To encourage more women to take on faculty roles, Tohoku University's 4th Career Seminar 2017 will focus on options for women in academia.

Speakers will address the essential fundamentals for women to succeed as university researchers and educators, and offer advice on ways to balance work and family. The unique challenges faced by foreigners working at the university will also be discussed.

There will be three lectures and a Q&A session, with helpful tips and anecdotes from experienced female academics. Attendance is free but registration is required via the link below.

This seminar is organised by the Institute for Excellence in Higher Education, the Center for Career Support / Innovative Leaders Platform and the Tohoku University Center for Gender Equality Promotion.
