e-ViTA Smart Ageing Virtual Coach: Consortium Meeting

The e-ViTA: Virtual Coach for Smart Ageing, is a collaborative research project between the European Union and Japan. This project aims to create a "virtual coach," a connected system of devices, sensors and even robots, that will support older adults in achieving or maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle.

The key themes are user needs, ethics, AI and natural language processing, intercultural living labs, and humanoid robotics.

Tohoku University is acting as project coordinator for the Japanese side, and is hosting the first Consortium Meeting at the six-month mark of this three-year project. During this Consortium Meeting, all leaders from both the EU and Japanese sides will be in attendance, and will share updates of their work, as well as introduce the activities for the next phases of the project.

This event is free and open to anyone who is interested. Registration is not required, simply open the link to Teams in your web browser.
