Tohoku University's Center for Academic Resources and Archives is organizing a special tour on May 18 to introduce the history of Katahira campus through its magnificent trees.
There are two sessions to choose from - one in the morning and one in the afternoon - led by assistant professors Motonari Ohyama and Takuro Ito of the Tohoku University Botanical Gardens.

At the end of each session, there will be refreshments provided by Pokke no Mori, and an opportunity to socialize with other participants and ask the lecturers questions.
This is a Japanese language event, but anyone who is interested is welcome to attend.
