In addition to the wide-ranging health, economic, and social consequences brought about by the COVID- 19 pandemic, many countries saw existing social inequalities exacerbated. Japan was no different.
To examine this, Tohoku University's TUPReP will host a seminar that explores the health impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in Japan, with a focus on social inequalities. This is the second TUPReP seminar that examines the COVID-19 pandemic through the eyes of foreigners.
Those interested can attend either in-person or online. Registration is required.
