Symposium on Reconstruction Agriculture: 10 Years after the Great East Japan Earthquake

The Tohoku University Graduate School of Agriculture is hosting a symposium on reconstruction agriculture in the region's rural areas that were affected by the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami.

The event will feature a series of lectures highlighting the work of the Tohoku Agricultural Science Center for Reconstruction (TASCR), including a review of its activities and discussions about future projects. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and share their ideas.

Date and time: December 13, 1 - 5 p.m. (Reception starts at 12:30 p.m.)
Venue: Tohoku University Graduate School of Agriculture, Aobayama Commons, 2nd floor Lecture Room (Map) ; Online option available
Capacity: 100 in-person visitors, 200 online via Zoom
