Japan Virtual Campus is a platform hosted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), for participating Japanese universities to share educational content.

The "Study in Japan Special Box" currently has four categories: Learn about Japan and Japanese Universities, Special Courses at Japanese Universities, Communication Programmes and Messages from Students in Japan.

Each category offers lectures, events and special content that is aimed at international students waiting to enter Japan, as well as anyone who is interested in finding out more about Japanese universities.

This February, Tohoku University is contributing two events with the theme of "Communication with Japanese Students".

TUSTEM Language Exchange

At this event, the Tohoku University STEM Student Network will organise games and conversation in both Japanese and English. Participants will get to know Japanese and international students from Tohoku University while having fun.

Let's Talk in Japanese!

The International Student Help Desk will provide conversational Japanese lessons in a fun and informative way. Participants will be divided into groups based on their Japanese levels.
